There is no greater thrill then having an experienced guide call in a 1000lb bull for the taking. New Brunswick has a healthy and growing moose population. The New Brunswick moose season consists of three days of hunting. The season dates for 2010 are September 23, 24 and 25. This takes place during the peek rutting season for the bulls. In order to qualify for a moose license you must enter your name in an automated draw by April 30th, 2010. The meals are home cooked and hot, to satisfy the hungry man's appetite after an exciting day in the woods. You may want to come a couple days early for the moose hunt if you are an avid fisherman or for that matter a beginner that would like to try their luck at fishing the famous Atlantic Salmon in the renowned Miramichi River. A couple of days casting a fly on one of the most famous Salmon River's in the world would be a good way to start the week off preparing yourself for possibly the best hunt of your life. During the slow time of the day you will also get a chance to scout with your guide the beautiful woods that we have here in New Brunswick.
